| Description | The overall aim of this research was to better understand the provision, usage and implementation of extended services within English schools. The first stage of the survey consisted of 25 semi-structured in depth qualitative interviews conducted face to face in five regions and by telephone in the other five. The second stage of the survey consisted of 100 telephone interviews with senior managers responsible for the delivery of extended services in schools. Sixty interviews were with senior managers in primary schools while forty were in secondary schools. | |
