DCSF: Importance of Social Worlds - An Investigation of Peer Relations Research Information

DescriptionThis secondary analysis of the Avon Longitudinal Study of Parents and Children (ALSPAC) looked at identifying different patterns of friendship at ages 8 and 10, examining the relationship between these and early (age 3 to 4) development and contemporaneous and later (age 11) wellbeing. The study covers children born in the Avon area between 1st April 1991 and 31st December 1992. Primary age data used in this report relates to the period 1999-2002.
