DCSF: Factors that Promote High Post-16 Participation of Many Minority Ethnic Groups - A Systematic Review of UK-based Aspirations Literature Research Information

DescriptionSome minority ethnic groups in the UK have higher rates of participation at age 16 and 18 than both the majority white cohort and some other minorities. This project aimed to identify what determines their views on participation in post-16 education. A systematic review scanned for research in the United Kingdom and synthesised evidence from the twenty-three most robust studies looking at the aspirations of young people, with an emphasis on those from ethnic minority groups.
