Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 Statistical First Releases
The Key Stage 4 (KS4) and Key Stage 5 (KS5) Statistical First Releases are due to be published on 16 October as planned. However, routine quality assurance of the KS4 database revealed some issues with the data that needed some time to resolve. These issues have now been resolved but the outcome is that it will not be possible to publish all the planned tables on the publication day.
The KS4 Statistical First Release (SFR) will contain provisional national level analyses by gender and school type and LA level analyses of key figures. These are the equivalent of Tables 1, 2, 2a, 3, 4, 5, 6, 15 and 15a in last year's SFR www.dcsf.gov.uk/rsgateway/DB/SFR/s000754/index.shtml . Further breakdowns by subject and vocational qualifications, previously contained within the main SFR, will be added later.
The KS5 database is unaffected and all the tables that were in last year's KS5 SFR will be available on the publication day.
